A middle school teacher who involved in the Anti-Power Movement (CDM) in Sagaing Division, Kanbalu Township was killed during interrogation after five days of arrest, and according to his family, even his body was not recieved by family members.
On December 3, members of the military council arrived at Jasmine Nanthar village and arrested Mr. Hlaing Win, a 40-year-old schoolteacher, and took him to Interrogation Battalion 6006 in Kanbalu.
When the family members asked for the dead body, the military said, they had already burried him. The family members were unaccepatable that they could not even see the body of Mr.Hlaing Win.
