Which party will you VOTE for the 2015 Election?

Most people asked me that which party or which candidate I should vote. And they also asked me that should I choose the qualified candidate or should I choose the candidates depend on the Party.

My answer is very obvious.

Voting for NLD in 2015 election is not an optional, we do not have any other choice. And it is not the time to consider about candidates’ quality. We need to trust the leader of NLD because I presume that the NLD will be at least better than the former military peoples’ party which recently declare that they are on the path of democracy. Apparently, they are not.

I am not telling that NLD will fulfil all the ethnic minorities’ requirements and all your requirements and desires in a blink of an eye. But I can affirm you that if you choose NLD, that would be better than the ruling party.

If you are willing to vote for the ruling party, you better ask yourself the following questions:

  • What are the improvements during their ruling period?
  • Did you really feel the real taste of democracy in their ruling period?
  • Do you think that USDP (Union Society and Development Party) party will amend the unfair             laws of 2008 constitution?
  • Who are the member of USDP party?

USDP party members are former military leader. I think, our country do not require military generals to lead and govern our country in order to achieve democratic goals.

I do not know how you understand democracy. But I would like to share my understanding about democracy. In order to be a true democratic country, the very basic point is the constitution. The constitution is the roadmap for democratic country. Our country’s constitution is not democratic constitution. Our constitution is made by the military government and most of the laws mentioned in the constitution are very unfair. I would like to explain some points about constitution as follow:

The constitution guarantees 25% of unelected parliamentary seats to the army’s nominees and requires a vote of more than 75% of parliamentarians to amend the constitution.

The laws in the 2008 constitution is not fairly described and it is not authentically approved by the public. The 2008 constitution is not the appropriate roadmap for the democratic country. On my aspect, the ruling party has no intention to amend or modify the unfair laws which has stated in the 2008 constitution.

As a conclusion, I would like to urge you to vote for NLD
